-
In the Navigator, click the Content
Areas tab.
-
Navigate to Path:
Content Areas > Content
Area Name.
Note: If you want to share
this style across multiple content areas, create it in the Shared
Objects content area.
-
Next to the Styles
container, click Create. The
Style Manager Wizard is displayed.
-
In the Style Properties
section, enter a name for the style to be used internally by Oracle
Portal and a display name which appears on the Navigator and
throughout the product.
Note: The name of the style
must be no more than 30 characters, and must be unique within the
Oracle Portal content area.
-
If you want to base the style on an existing style, choose the style
from the Copy From list.
Tip: New styles are created
by modifying an existing style, sometimes extensively, and saving it
with a new name.
-
If you want authorized users of the content
area to have access to your new style, either to apply to their
folders or to use as a basis for their own new styles, select Make
Public. If this style is strictly for your own use, clear
this box.
Note: The Make
Public check box is displayed only to those authorized users
with the "Publish" or "Make Public" privileges on
the content area (or across all content areas). For more information,
see Enabling users or groups to make content
area objects available to other users.
-
Click Create.
Note: The new style is not
automatically applied to your folder. You apply the style from the
Folder Manager: Style tab. For more information, see Applying
a style to a folder.
-
To edit the new style, click the style link displayed at the top of
the page.
-
The Style Manager is displayed from which you can edit the various
style properties and elements on the available tabs: Main, Folder
Layout, and Properties. |
