Setting a uniform icon height and width for items in a folder region

To ensure a consistent look in the display of your items in the folder area, you may want to set a uniform icon height and width for the image associated with the item. You can choose an image to associate with an item when adding or editing an item.

You must be logged on as the style administrator or creator of the style to perform this task.

Be careful when changing the style applied to the folder since any changes affect the appearance of all other folders and navigation bars using that style.

To set a uniform icon height and width for items in a region:

Note: If you are already in the folder in which you want to work with, click Folder Style on the folder dashboard and continue from step 4.

  1. In the Navigator, click the Content Areas tab.

  2. Navigate to Path: Content Areas > Name of Content Area > Styles.

  3. In the Actions column, click Edit next to the style you want to work with to display the Style Manager.

  4. Click the Folder Layout tab.

  5. Click beside any region in the region layout diagram to edit its properties, including the default region names (i.e. Quickpicks, News, Regular items, etc.).

The Style Manager (Edit Region): Item or Sub-folder configuration automatically appears.

  1. In the Item Icon Height field, enter the size of the uniform icon height in pixels.

  2. In the Item Icon Width field, enter the size of the uniform icon width in pixels.

  3. Click Apply.

The folder region layout is modified with your changes.
