Changing a folder's banner colors

You can change the folder's banner colors applied to the Main banner, Sub Banner, Region Banner, Group By banner, and so on.

You must be logged on as the style administrator or creator of the style to perform this task.

Be careful when changing the style applied to the folder since any changes affect the appearance of all other folders and navigation bars using that style.

To change a folder's banner colors:

Note: If you are already in the folder in which you want to work with, click Folder Style on the folder dashboard and continue from step 4.

  1. In the Navigator, click the Content Areas tab.

  2. Navigate to Path: Content Areas > Name of Content Area > Styles.

  3. In the Actions column, click Edit next to the style you want to work with to display the Style Manager.

  4. Click the Properties tab.

  5. Choose the Style Element that you want to change. In this case, you can choose to change these folder banner elements: Main Banner Color, Sub-banner Color, Region Banner Color, Group By Banner Color.

  6. You can specify a color either by entering the color's hexadecimal value, or if you are not sure of the hexadecimal value of the color, position the mouse pointer on a color square on the color palette and click. The hex value for that color appears in the Color field.

  7. Click Apply.

  8. Repeat this process for any other folder banner element.

  1. Click OK.
