Choosing another folder region layout

The layout of folder regions determines how items and sub-folders are arranged in the folder area when the folder is rendered. Oracle Portal provides five different folder region layouts that you can choose to apply to your folder.

For each folder region, you can set the number of columns and rows, how items are sorted, grouped, and ordered, and which item attributes appear beside the item.

You must be logged on as the style administrator or creator of the style to perform this task.

Be careful when changing the style applied to the folder since any changes affect the appearance of all other folders and navigation bars using that style.

To choose another folder region:

Note: If you are already in the folder in which you want to work with, click Folder Style on the folder dashboard and continue from step 4.
