Setting the alignment of items in a folder region

You can have items in a folder region aligned to the left, center, or right.

You must be logged on as the style administrator or creator of the style to perform this task.

Be careful when changing the style applied to the folder since any changes affect the appearance of all other folders and navigation bars using that style.

To set the alignment of items in a folder region:

Note: If you are already in the folder in which you want to work with, click Folder Style on the folder dashboard and continue from step 4.

  1. In the Navigator, click the Content Areas tab.

  2. Navigate to Path: Content Areas > Name of Content Area > Styles.

  3. In the Actions column, click Edit next to the style you want to work with to display the Style Manager.

  4. Click the Folder Layout tab.

  5. Click beside any region in the region layout diagram to edit its properties, including the default region names (i.e. Quickpicks, News, Regular items, etc.).

The Style Manager (Edit Region): Item or Sub-folder configuration automatically appears.

  1. In the Item Alignment field below the Region Content Properties section, choose how you want the items in this folder region to appear: Left, Center, Right.

  2. Click Apply.

The folder region layout is modified with your changes.
