Editing a content area page

You can edit a content area page to add or remove regions or portlets.

You must be the content area administrator, the portal administrator, or have Manage privileges on All Content Areas to edit a content area page.

To edit a content area page:

  1. In the Navigator, click the Content Areas tab.

  2. Navigate to the root path.

  3. In the row for any content area of which you are content area administrator, click Edit.

  4. Click Page.

  5. In the Select Page list, choose the page you want to edit.

  6. Click Edit.

  7. In the Customize Page: Portlets tab, you can add, remove, edit, or move regions and portlets. For more information, see the following:

  8. Each content area page must contain at least a folder portlet.

  9. Click Close to return to the Content Area Manager.

    Note: The page you edited is now selected as the content area's page. Make sure you change this if you don't want to use this page as the content area page.

  10. Click OK.
