Listing perspective contents

To display all of the content that is currently associated with a perspective, users simply access the perspective by any one of several methods.

To list the contents of a perspective from the navigation bar:

  1. If your navigation bar contains a list of perspectives (e.g., a drop-down list or links), you can choose one of the listed categories to browse its contents.

Note: If you have the appropriate privileges, you can modify a navigation bar to include a perspective list. If you do not have the necessary privileges, you have to request that your administrator include perspectives in your navigation bar.

To list the contents of a perspective from an item in the perspective:

  1. Go to an item that belongs to the perspective that you want to view.

  2. Click the link to the perspective that appears with the item. The link may be an image or text.

To search the contents of a perspective from advanced search:

  1. Go to the advanced search page.

Note: The navigation bar may contain a link to advanced search, but, if it does not, click Go next to the basic search field without any search criteria specified. An error page will appear that includes a link to advanced search.

  2. In the Search For field, enter the string for which you want to search.

  3. In Restrict To, choose the perspective to which you want to limit your search.

  4. Click Submit.

To list a perspective from search results:

  1. Each item in the hit list of a search contains a link to the perspective to which the item belongs. The link may be an image or text. Click the link to view the contents of the perspective.
