Designating a content area contact

The content area contact is the person for users to contact with their questions about the content area, and is typically the content area administrator. The content area contact e-mail address is displayed as a link in the bottom left corner of each folder in the content area. You can customize the text that precedes the content area contact e-mail address.

You can also display the content area contact e-mail address in the navigation bar.

If a folder contact has been designated for a folder, the folder contact e-mail address is displayed in the folder instead of the content area contact e-mail address.

You must be the content area administrator, the portal administrator, or have Manage privileges on All Content Areas to designate a content area contact.

To designate a content area contact:

  1. In the Navigator, click the Content Areas tab.

  2. Navigate to the root path.

  3. In the row for your content area, click Edit Properties.

  4. In the Contact E-mail field, the e-mail address of the content area contact, for example:

    webmaster@healthyliving.com or scott@healthyliving.com

  5. Click OK.
