How do I publish my objects as portlets?

You can publish the following objects as portlets so that they can be added to pages: Folders Categories Perspectives Navigation Bars Components Pages However, to publish objects as portlets you need to have one of the following privileges, or be a member of a group with one of the following privileges: Portal administrator Portlet publisher Publish global privileges on All Portlets Content area administrator of the content area that contains the object you want to publish (for folders, categories, perspectives, and navigation bars). Manage or Publish global privileges on All Content Areas (for folders, categories, perspectives, and navigation bars). Manage global privileges on All Applications (for components). Manage global privileges on All Pages (for pages). If you have the appropriate privileges, you will see the Publish As Portlet check box when you create or edit any of the above mentioned objects. Select this check box to publish the object as a portlet. If you do not see the Publish As Portlet checkbox, ask your portal administrator to grant you one of the above privileges.
