Moving a page to Top-Level Pages

You must be the portal administrator (or have the Manage privilege for All Pages) to move a page to Top-Level Pages. This task tells you how to move a page that you've created (that is, from My Pages) to Top-Level Pages, as well as how to move a page that someone else has created (User Pages) to Top-Level Pages.

Note

If a page is already in Top-Level Pages, the Make Top-Level action does not appear in the page's Action column.

To move a page from My Pages to Top-Level Pages:

  1. In the Navigator, click the Pages tab.

  2. Navigate to the following path:

    Path: Pages

  3. Click My Pages.

  4. In the row that contains the page you want to move to Top-Level Pages, click Make Top-Level.

A link to the page remains in My Pages.

To move a page from User Pages to Top-Level Pages:

  1. In the Navigator, click the Pages tab.

  2. If you know the name of the page, enter it in the Find field and click Go. Otherwise:

  3. Navigate to the following path:

    Path: Pages

  1. Click User Pages.

  2. Click the letter corresponding to the first letter in the page creator's user name.

  3. Click the user name itself.

  4. In the row that contains the page you want to move to Top-Level Pages, click Make Top-Level.

A link to the page remains in User Pages.
