Displaying deleted items in a content area

You can continue to display items in a content area even after they have been deleted. If you choose to display deleted items, they are visible (marked with a Deleted flag) to users when they are in Edit mode. Users with Manage Items privileges on a folder can edit, move, or 'undelete' deleted items in that folder.

To display deleted items you must also retain deleted items in the database.

You must be the content area administrator, the portal administrator, or have Manage privileges on All Content Areas to choose to display deleted items in a content area.

To display deleted items in a content area:

  1. In the Navigator, click the Content Areas tab.

  2. Navigate to the root path.

  3. In the row for your content area, click Edit.

  4. Click Items.

  5. Select Display Deleted Items.

  6. Click OK.
